What are we going do about it?

With ICE manufacturing charges to justify arresting American citizens, seizing and “disappearing” suspected illegals while the Marines and National Guard cover for them and quell protests; with the head of HHS blocking access to bird flu information and firing everyone on the CDC Vaccine advisory panel, we REALLY, REALLY, REALLY can’t sit at home and watch things fall further apart. If you feel this way too, join us!

Upcoming Protests and Rallies:

  • GOOD TROUBLE LIVES ON: Rockland Resists – Banners over the Parkway, 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday July 17th, Rte 340 in Palisades. On Mobilize, https://mobilize.us/s/u7kLIt, or use our form to let us know you’re coming!
What we’re doing: holding banners – we have some, or bring your own – to highlight Good Trouble for the enjoyment and edification of Parkway drivers on their commute.
    Location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/gvoHnvkpyTuv97it9 in Palisades, NY
Parking: at/near https://maps.app.goo.gl/2NBMqBFMrGfXGUyY9 – NOT in the ballfield lot. Please park on the WEST side of Rte 340, southbound lane, with the white highway line fully to the left of your vehicle. It’s a short walk SOUTH from parking to the overpass. Be prepared to walk, and bring water!
  • No Kings protest at 4 Corners in Nanuet every Saturday from 12 to 1 p.m. (Indivisible Rockland)
  • See https://www.mobilize.us/ for more protests near you!
  • Please note that we are a cooperative group of ordinary people; we belong to the Visibility Brigade and follow their guidelines for groups; we are not part of Indivisible, have no formal affiliation with them, and are not subject to nor responsible for their administrative policies or political positions.

Morale-building
A friend recently asked me what on earth I’m hoping to accomplish by protesting. “Trump isn’t going to care,” he told me. This is not why we protest. We protest because the first step in fighting back is learning that we are not alone, showing others that they are not alone, and finally, uniting the many who share an abhorrence of the undemocratic, unAmerican, inhumane actions of this regime.

We’re not giving up. And we will keep trying.

Organize (like these guys!)

“…Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.“
